Fenian-L is a place to find out about the Fenians and discover as much as possible about the Irishmen who joined the Brotherhood. You will be then connected to a group of people of the same interests. William Smith O'Brien political leader of Young Ireland. Idealistic, he was forced to fight and did a poor job of it as his aristocratic upbringing and lack of military knowledge guaranteed defeat. He ended up in exile in Australia. |
