* In the formal family history that Sally Scheetz distributed (see fn. 1), there is information about Alvesta's second husband and some children that appears to be confused and conflicts with her notes (also apparently incorrect) that were apparently written at an earlier time (see fn 2). The formal history says the second husband's last name is "Tilly" (first name not known). The notes say the second husband's name was Cyrus Ruth. Most other researchers, the 1900 Census and Alavesta's Obituary indicate Alavesta's second husband's name is "Harvey Ruth" and that Cyrus was Alavesta's son. The history says Alvesta and Wooster had two sons: Wilson & Victor and a daughter Elsie with Mr. Tilly. The notes indicate that Elsie and another daughter, Ella were all children of Wooster Fluck and that Alvesta had several other unnamed children with Cyrus Ruth. The name "Tilly" may be a matter of confusion. Several other researchers list a daughter named Tillie Amanda Fluck who was the daughter of Wooster & Alavesta. They also list Victor, Wilson & Ella as the children of "Cyrus Ruth." This appears to be wrong. Cyrus Ruth is the son of Harvey Deemer Ruth and Alvesta. He is listed incorrectly as "Cyrus Bauder" in the 1920 Census but is listed as her son.

** My Grandmother Sally Scheetz only refers to "Ella." In the 1900 Census "Mary Ellen Fluck" age 16 is living with the Ruth family. In the 1920 Census "Ella Bauder" wife of Charles Bauder with children Charles & Earnest is living next door to Alavesta Ruth. In the 1930 Census Alavesta Ruth is living with Charles and "Mary E. Fluck" as "mother-in-law" with children Charles Earnest & Dorothy. Her Obituary lists her as "Mary Ella."

*** I have no indication that David Fluck is the son of Wooster and Alvesta. I can only assume that since he is listed in the 1900 Census as living with Reuben Raub as his grandson.
