  1. "The Raubs" by Sally Scheetz (This source only refers to "Henry" but other notes refer to same person as "Titus").
  2. Raub-Morris Notes from Sally Scheetz

  4. 1870 Census
  5. 1900 Census Titus H. Raub, 45 years old living in Hanover Twp., Lehigh, Co., PA with an 11 year old son Joseph, and a wife named Lydia (married 3 years, so obviously a second wife). His profession is listed as a "stationary engineer"
  6. 1910 Census Henry T. Raub, 55 years old, living in Bethlehem, a widower, with 22 year old son Joseph and working as an Engineer at the water works.
  7. 1920 Census Henry, wife Emma.
  8. Henry T. Raub Obituary
  9. Obituaries of Harry, Joseph, and Cora.
  10. There is an 1880 Census record showing "Titu" Raub age 25 living with wife Amanda and daughters Carrie and Minerva. I am speculating that this is the same person and that "Carrie" is the same person as Cora since to be married in 1896, she must have been born before 1880. But this is really just a guess. Since Titus is such an unusual name and Joseph's obituary names Amanda as his mother, it seems probable that this is corect.

* Edward is mentioned in Sally's notes but not in her more formal history. He does not show up in any of the Census records. It is possible this was a mistake, or that he died young.

** Harry is not mentioned anywhere in the family history and does not show up in any of the Census records with Henry. There is a 1910 Census record for a Harry Raub born 1884, who works at the Water Works as an engineer and another in 1930 that shows him as Chief Engineer. Only the Obituaries tie him to Henry.
