  1. Titus is not mentioned by Sally Scheetz but shows up in the 1860 and 1870 Census records. I suspect he started going by the name "Henry" since I can find no record of a Henry in any of the Census records. There is a Titus H. Raub around 45 years old living in Hanover Twp., Lehigh, Co., PA in the 1900 Census with an 11 year old son Joseph, and a wife named Lydia (married 3 years, so obviously a second wife). His profession is listed as a "stationary engineer" This is all consistent with what Sally Scheetz tells us about Henry. In the 1910 Census "Henry T. Raub" is 55 years old, living in Bethlehem, a widower, with 22 year old son Joseph and working as an Engineer at the water works. See also, 1920 Census for Henry, wife Emma.

  3. Wilson Raub's Baptism Certificate Also, Gravestone confirms year. Surprisingly, the 1860 Census (dated August 3, 1860) lists Wilson as one year old, even though he would not be born for another three weeks!
