        Carr's Hill Pauper's Graveyard from 1846. Before this date, paupers were buried in St John's graveyard, Quaker Road or in St Joseph's.
        Prior to the opening of St Joseph's, Catholics were buried in Kilcrea near Ovens, Douglas, Currykippane near Clogheen, Carrigrohane and Kilcully near Dublin Hill.
  • Desertmore Burial Ground must count as one of the smallest, if not the smallest graveyard in Cork. There are only three families buried there: - the Hawkes of Muskerry (for whom there are no inscriptions, just a large vaulted tomb), the Madras family and the Curtis family, all Church of Ireland.
