The petition of Helen Olds of the town of Newport in the county of Herkimer, State of New York, respectfully shows:
That on or about the 13th day of December, 1883, Alexander Coffin, late of the town of Newport, in the said county of Herkimer, departed this life at the residence of Jerome Olds in the town of Newport in said county of Herkimer, without leaving any last will and testament, to the best of your petitioner's knowledge, information, and belief; and that said deceased was at, or immediately preceding his death, a resident of said county of Herkimer.

Personal property does not exceed $2000. Said deceased left no widow, but left his only next of kin, viz: Helen Olds his daughter your petitioner herein, of full age and of sound mind.
