Property Description - Bounded southerly by the highway, westerly by lands of Stephen BRAYTON jun., northerly by lands of Levi BOWEN, and easterly by lands of Abel NELSON and Joseph COFFIN; and is all that farm owned and occupied by Jeremiah R. GORTON in his lifetime.

Exception - It is expressly understood that about 28 acres of said land is a life estate only, and the same 28 acres, with 9 other acres of the said farm, are subject to an annual annuity in Mary STONE during her life, and the whole farm is subject to a mortgage, given by the said parties of the first part, to secure the payment of $1153 to Sherman WOOSTER & Richard HERENDEN bearing date the 24 February 1829, on which said mortgage there remains due beside the interest from date $600, and the party of the second part agrees to pay the mortgage as part of the consideration mentioned.
