In the name of God, Amen. I Worden Coffin of the town of Deerfield in the County of Herkimer, State of New York, being of sound mind and memory, and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life, do therefore make, ordain, publish, and declare this to be my last will and testament, that is to say:

Second - I give and bequeath to my son Henry W. Coffin twenty-eight and a half acres of land, being the same land that Henry W. Coffin is to have possession of said land at the death of his mother Elizabeth Coffin.

Third - I give and bequeath to my grandson Leon H. Coffin at the death of my wife one half of the remainder of my real and personal estate excepting the twenty-eight acres that was willed to my son Henry W. Coffin.

Fourth - I give and bequeath to my daughter Celestia L. Wait eight hundred dollars to be given at the death of my wife.

Fifth - I give and bequeath to my grandson Joseph R. Coffin at the death of my wife fifty dollars.

Sixth - I give and bequeath to my grandson Burton W. Coffin at the death of my wife fifty dollars.

Seventh - I give and bequeath to my granddaughter Lovinia Wilcox at the death of my wife fifty dollars.

Eighth - I give and bequeath to my son William Benton Coffin at the death of my wife fifty dollars.

Ninth - I hereby authorize and direct my executor hereinafter named to erect a headstone at my grave, such a stone as my executor shall think best.

Likewise, I make, constitute and appoint Warren A Brayton to be the executor of this, my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made.

In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal the 27th day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety three.
