The above photo is of James & his first wife Sarah Coulbeck. It was orginally thought to be James' wife Elizabeth, my grandmother said that this was her mother Lizzie's mother, so now that we know who her mother was I'm sure this is Sarah & not Elizabeth

JAMES TYRRELL was born 17 Mar 1865 in Bayham Twp., Ontario, Canada, and died 14 Sept 1916 in Woodstock Hospital, Woodstock, Ontario, Canada. He was the son of Ambrose & Mary Tyrrell

He married (1) Sarah Coulbeck (d/o Charles Coulbeck & Hannah Blythe) 19 Oct 1885 in Tilsonburg, Ontario, Canada.(2)Elizabeth Harriet Cole (d/o of George & Martha Cole)on 16 Nov 1895 in Eastwood, Ontario, Canada.

4. Lurena M. TYRRELL b. 30 Sept 1888 in Ontario; m1. Lyman A. Wilkinson circa 1916, m2. Fredric L. Snook 19 April 1940 in Kalamazoo, Kalamazoo County, MI, USA, m3. W.D. "Woody" Cook?

NOTES: Seems after Sarah's death the two younger girls were sent to the United States & Mildred married Mervyn Ingram, and John was sent to family in the west. I have found 2 articles about a trial that could be the explaination, but until I confirm I choose not to share publicly.

James & Elizabeth Harriet Cole (second marriage for both, Elizabeth's first husband was Charles Hersee) children:

1. James B. TYRRELL b. 19 or 29 Jan 1897 in Corinth, Bayham, Elgin, Ontario; m. Harriett ?; came to America in 1919 in Detroit, worked as a cabbie in the 1930 census & 1931 Detroit City Directory with his wife Harriett & children Marjory, William & Dorothy.

2. Ida Esther TYRRELL b. 24 Jul 1903 in Woodstock, Ontario; m. Walter Lamb 13 Aug 1924 in Detroit, Wayne County, MI, USA (which is interesting because I found her arrival to America on 8 Feb 1924 with husband & brother Harry); d. 21 Apr 1984 in Swainsboro, Emanuel County, Georgia, USA

3. Ernest TYRRELL b. 26 Mar 1906 in Brant, Ontario; m. Dorothy M. Bray 3 Jan 1927 in Oxford, Ontario

4. Dorothy May TYRRELL b. 1 Mar 1914 in Woodstock, Ontario. d. 9 May 1915 in Woodstock, Ontario (found her in the Ontario, Canada, Deaths 1869-1938 on Ancestry I estimated her birth date because it said she was 14 months, 8 days old)

5. Harry TYRRELL b. 1918 in Woodstock, (I have him with Ida & Walter Lamb coming to America in 1928, I'm guessing he may have died in Swainsboro, GA he was in the 1940 census with Ida & Walter)

6. F.N.T or Nora (I have scanned copy of a postcard sent to Elizabeth - my great grandmother, signed F.N.T. plus a reference to an Aunt Nora on her mother's side from my grandmother in a pic of James & Nora)
