From Russell's Firestone Genealogy (1993): Eva Catharina Feyerstein, daughter of Nicholas and Catharina (Nunnenmacher) Feyerstein, was born at Thal 3 June 1739. Eva Catharine Feierstein, single, daughter of Nicolaus, witnessed the baptism at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, York, Pa., of a daughter of Conrad and Catharina Stautzenberger on 26 May 1760. Eva Firestone married John Steiffler/Stiffier before 3 July 1763, on which date John and Eva Catharine Stiefler witnessed the baptism of [her brother] Nicholas Firestone's child by the pastor of Salem Reformed Church, Dover Township, York County, Pa. On 1 June 1768 Eva and her husband John Steiffler were named among the heirs of [her father] Nicholas Firestone of Paradise Township, York County, and John Stiffler was appointed guardian of her young brother Michael Firestone, age 11 years. On 31 May 1770, when her father's estate was divided, Eva's share in the balance was £8.2.2.3. In 1779 John Steffler was taxed for one cattle in Berwick Township, York [now Adams] County.
