Dorothea Firestone, daughter of Nicholas and Catharina (Nunnenmacher) Firestone, was born at Thal 17 February 1747. In about 1763 she married John Whale/Wall/Wahl, "an Englishman," and they had a daughter baptized at York, Pa., in 1764. She and her husband were listed among the heirs of Nicholas Firestone of Paradise Township, York County, Pa. in 1764. John Wall [signed by mark X] was among the kinsmen who approved the further inventory of Nicholas's estate, filed 6 December 1769. John Wall, stiller, was taxed in York County m 1779 for a house and lot in York Town.

Among the children of John and Dorothea (Firestone) Wall was:
i. Susanna Wall, b. 16 Oct. 1764; bp. Christ E-L Church, York Town, 22 Nov. 1764;. witnesses: Conrad and Catharina Stautzenberger.
