In October, 2000 the Maupin family will be holding a three-day
celebration in Charlottesville-White Hall to commerate the
300th Anniversary of the Maupins coming to America and the 300th
Birthday of Daniel Maupin. On Saturday October 28, we will be
dedicating tombstone we have errected on the graves of Daniel
and Margaret. If you would like an announcement/registration
card just send me you name and address, and I will mail one to
you. I am located just one mile from the Sandridge Cemetery
where all of these people are buried. They only have fieldstone
graves, but it is very well cared for. WILLIAM R. ALBERTSON"

to Marie Spencer (daughter of Earl Spencer). Gabriel's father
was Amos Maupin born c. 1600. Amos' father was Ambrose Maupin of
France. Ambrose's father was Firman le Maupin who died in 1572.
Firman was married to Jeane d'Albross."
