Margaret Watts Strother, widow of Wm. of "Stafford," gives power
of attorney to loving brother, Benjamine Strother, to convey
dower.
In 1760 a deed from Benjamine Strother to his daughter, Anne,
conveyed several slaves, and in 1790 John James, his
administrator, asked for commissioners to settle. His wife was
an aunt of George Mason of "Gunston Hall."
July 14, 1741, received grant of 419 acres of land in Stafford
Co., Virginia

Sarah Ann Wilhite was my gr-gr-grandmother. She apparently died
in Logan County, Kentucky where my grandfather, John P.
Linville, was born. My family later moved to Crittenden County,
Arkansas.
Based on the information I have, Agnes Wihoit was the daughter
of Michael Wilhoit & Mary Shirley & the granddaughter of Tobias
Willheit & Catherine Walker.
I haven't personally conducted the research on my Wilhite
family, but have received most of it from other researchers.
Any additions and/or corrections would be most welcomed.
