"Our Evans Family line is always a work in progress. The Evans Line that we are following is very difficult in that there are a tremendous amount of William's, Arden's and Elijah's. This work is at times speculation and much of our information we have obtained off of the internet and is unconfirmed. If you can add to, confirm, or correct this line of Evan's please let us know.
Some of our information on the Evans Family is from a book published in 1940 by A. Evans Wynn. This information is totally, at this time, speculation.
Any of the information we have on the Evans line that we know is true will be documented as such. Please remember that all of our information is 'just a place to start your research.'

As quoted from the book Southern Lineages, the first definate knowlege of David Evans is found in the Queen Anne Parish Register and records the following: Eleanor Evans, daughter of David Evans and Anne, his wife was born October 5, 1714.
John Evans son of David Evans and Anne his wife was born August 21, 1717.
Arden Evans, son of David Evans and Anne his wife, was born March 15, 1721."

Possibly had 3 wives. Will of Ebeneezer Miller: 1796, Nelson County, Kentucky. Copyright © 2000 by Dawnene Young. This copy contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives. [email protected]

Will of EBENEZER MILLER, gives to beloved wife MARY MILLER all the household furniture and moveable stock, horses and cattle, and a child's part with the rest. To son CHARLES MILLER 400 acres of land on the waters of Fox's Creek, running into Licking, if the land is obtained in full and if not, a part accordingly.
To son-in-law JOHN KING, 400 acres of land out of the same tract if obtained in full and if not, a part accordingly. The remaining part to be equally divided among other sons. The plantation whereon testator now lives to be for the use of wife Mary during her life, or is she thinks proper to dispose of it for the better, I allow the price of it to be equally divided between her and sons JAMES MILLER, JOSEPH MILLER, WILLIAM MILLER, JOHN MILLER, and STEPHEN MILLER. The money part for the three youngest sons, William, John, and Stephen, to be left to the discretion of the executor to put out upon interest or laid out on lands.

Likewise, allows JOSEPH REED half of a 500 acre tract of land that WILLIAM PENNYBAKER located upon the Rolling Fork, him paying in proportion to what land he obtained and if no land obtained there, he is to have 200 acres of the above mentioned tract on Fox's Creek, him paying all lawful expenses.
