As quoted from the book Southern Lineages, the first definate
knowlege of David Evans is found in the Queen Anne Parish
Register and records the following: Eleanor Evans, daughter of
David Evans and Anne, his wife was born October 5, 1714.
John Evans son of David Evans and Anne his wife was born August
21, 1717.
Arden Evans, son of David Evans and Anne his wife, was born
March 15, 1721."

William was the son of Elijah Hurst and Mary "Polly" Lindsey.
Spier L. Hurst and Jesse Lindsey Hurst were both sons of Elijah
Hurst and Mary Lindsey (daughter of Mary Barksdale Lindsey and
her 1st husband, William Lindsey).
Bolivar Hurst: Biographical Note: Obituary
Bolivar Hurst died March 12, 1914 at age 87. He had been a
farmer at Glenarm, Oldham County Kentucky for 60 years. He was a
vetran of the Mexican War, a Sargent in the 1st Kentucky Old
Louisville Legion and had been a member of the old volunteer
Fire Dept. of Louisville.
He was the son of William Hurst. He was buried in Cave Hill
Cemetery in Louisville. He had 2 daughters living at the time
of his death: Mrs. William B. Earl of 1851 Edgeland Ave. and
Mrs. John Fox of Glenarm. And 6 grandchildren, three of whom
were W.H.Fenley, Mrs. Charles Read and. Mrs. Prentice Hurst
(widow of Harry Hurst) all of Louisville and Harry H. Brown,
Mrs. Emerson Bar___ and Miss Florence Brown, all of Glenarm.

Will of EBENEZER MILLER, gives to beloved wife MARY MILLER all
the household furniture and moveable stock, horses and cattle,
and a child's part with the rest. To son CHARLES MILLER 400
acres of land on the waters of Fox's Creek, running into
Licking, if the land is obtained in full and if not, a part
accordingly.
To son-in-law JOHN KING, 400 acres of land out of the same tract
if obtained in full and if not, a part accordingly. The
remaining part to be equally divided among other sons. The
plantation whereon testator now lives to be for the use of wife
Mary during her life, or is she thinks proper to dispose of it
for the better, I allow the price of it to be equally divided
between her and sons JAMES MILLER, JOSEPH MILLER, WILLIAM
MILLER, JOHN MILLER, and STEPHEN MILLER. The money part for the
three youngest sons, William, John, and Stephen, to be left to
the discretion of the executor to put out upon interest or laid
out on lands.
Likewise, allows JOSEPH REED half of a 500 acre tract of land
that WILLIAM PENNYBAKER located upon the Rolling Fork, him
paying in proportion to what land he obtained and if no land
obtained there, he is to have 200 acres of the above mentioned
tract on Fox's Creek, him paying all lawful expenses. Also the
bond that is in the hands of SAMUEL SHANNON which testator has
upon JOHN BAKER for 400 acres of land on Harrod's Creek in
Jefferson County, testator allows to be sold and the money laid
out for paying just debts.
Appoints wife MARY MILLER and JAMES MILLER as executors. August
16, 1796. JAMES DEACON and J. KENNEDY, witnesses. Probated 10
January 1797.

Edward King, Peter King, Cornelius King, Jacob King, John King,
Ebenezer Miller, Charles Miller, John Reed, Phillip Reed."
"Before 1797 when he died, Ebenezer Miller, previously of South
Carolina, married Mary Reed, with it recorded in Bardstown,
Nelson Co.Ky. He has a will probated in Nelson Co. in 1797
naming Mary. Does anyone have any information about this couple
or their childen James, John, Joseph, William, Stephen (named in
will) They also had a son-in-law John King.
