She parted with her fine house, furniture, plate, carriage and
horses, and as much of her property as saved his honor. Dr
Brokenbrough kept Warm Springs in Bath County and the lands
around it. With the profits arising from this most delightful
bathing place in the United States, they passed their old age in
easy competence and social enjoyments.
The Brokenbrough house on Shokoe Hill in Richmond at the corner
of 12th and Clay Streets was built in 1818 and later enlarged in
1844. The House was used as the residence of President Jefferson
Davis and the "White House of the Confederacy" during the civil
war. which is now occupied as the Confederate Museum

Randolph & Harriet, his wife, of Tuckahoe, in Goochland Co, and
John Brockenbroughand Gabriella, his wife, of the City of
Richmond, deed to John Wickham of the same 146 1/4 acres in
Goochland, containing Tuckahoe mills and pond."
children: "ii John Harvie Brockenbrough was born in 1797 in
Richmond, Va. He died on 20 Oct 1810 in Richmond, Va and was
buried in Oct 1810 in Doctor's Hall Cemetery, Richmond, Va."
