Family 2 : John TURBERVILLE "the Immigrant"

Notes

Caution: marriage to John Turberville is speculation!

1664 Deed of gift, Northumberland co. by father, Mathew Rodham.
20 Jan 1691/92 Petition, Probate Will, Richd Kenner, Dec'd.
20 Apr 1709 Will, Eliz., p., Northumberland Co., VA

Elizabeth's son Francis, in his 1725 will, calls George Tuberville "brother-in-law". Since George Tuberville's three wives are known and none of them was a "Kenner", and since George was named "sole heir" in the 1728 will of his father John Tuberville, George must have been half-brother to Francis Kenner. The terms were interchangeable in the 18th century. Thus Elizabeth Rodham Kenner married John Tuberville as her second husband, and they had one child together, George.

Another Birth date for Elizabeth Rodham is 1648, Northumberland Co., VA.

By her first husband she had two children, at least, Barret and Waty, who both went to Prince Edward County. Waty died at her brother's house in middle life, but Barret lived to old age, on the south side of East Lake".
