Lightfoot, who married Mary Warner Lewis, only daughter of Col
Charles Lewis and his wife Lucy Taliaferro. Elisabeth Lightfoot
Lillard was a 1st cousin of "Light Horse Harry" Lee of glorious
revolutionary fame, who was also the father of Gen Robert E Lee.
She was also related to Richard Henry Lee, the mover of the
Declaration of Independence and the Cicero of the American
Revolution; another of her realtives was Francis Lightfoot Lee,
