Notes


William of Hereford was the son of Miles of Gloucester, Earl of Hereford and Sybil de Neufmarché.1 He was born before 1143. He died before 1166 at Bronllys Tower, Breconshire, Wales, mortally hurt by a stone dropped from the tower, without issue.1
He held the office of the King's Constable.1 He succeeded to the title of Lord Abergavenny [Feudal] circa 1164.1
