direct the same for the benefit and advantage of my Wife and
children in such manner & way as he may conceive necessary
revoking and annulling all Will or Wills heretoafter by me made
declaring this only to be my last Will and testiment this 12th
day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight

To all to whom these presents shall come, greeting.
Know ye rhat on the thirteenth day of April, which was in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighteen, the
last will and Testament of William Dunnam, late of Marlborough
District and state of South Carolina deceased, was proved,
approved, and Allowed of; the said deceased having whilest he
lived, and at the time of his death, divers goods, rights, and
credits within the state and district aforesaid; by means where
of the approbation and Allowing of his testament and the power
of granting and administrate of all and singular the goods,
rights and credits of the said deceased, and his Testament, any
manner of way concerning, was granted and committed unto Robert
Carloss, named executor in the said last will and testament,
being first sworn on the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God, well
and faithfully to administer and make a full and perfect
inventory of all and singular the goods, rights and credits of
the said deceased, and to exhibit the same into the Ordinary
Officer in Marlborough District, in order to be recorded, on or
before the fifteenth day of June now next ensuing and to render
a just and true account calculation and reckoning thereof when
there unto required.
IN TESTIMONY whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the
thirteenth day of April Anno Domini, one thousand eight hundred
and eighteen, and in the forty second year of American
Independance.
State of South Carolina Marlborough District By William
Easterling, Ordinary of District: To EZRA COX one of the
Justices assigned to keep the peace in said District. I reposing
special trust and confidences in the integrety, knowledge, and
circumstances of you the said EZRA COX do hereby nominate
authorize and appoint you to qualify on the Holy Evangelists.

William Dunnam late of sd District, deceased, wheresoever any of
the goods and chattels of the said deceased are as do remain
within the said parts and places and which shall be thereon unto
them by said Robertson Carloss, and to these view and appraise
all and singular the goods and chattels, ready mony only
excepted of the said deceased and to make a just and perfect
Inventory and appraisement there of and to return the same
certified under their hand unto the said Robertson Carloss, on
or before the tenth day September ------------
Given under my hand and seal this thirteenth day of July in the

names are here under written to expain all such parts & places

places & which shall be shown unto you by the said Roberson

P Cox, Esquire, one of the Justices assigned to keep the peace
in Malborough Disttrict, William Thomas, Saml Townsend, & Eli
Cox. Being three of the appraisers appointed to appraise the
goods & chattles of Wm Dunnam deceased who being duly sworn made
oath that they would a just & true appraisement of all &
singular and chattels ready mony on excepted of Wm Dunnam
deceased and they would the same certified under their hands
unto the said.
