Hello. I've been on vacation and just found your message. I am
related through Burrell's sister, Euseba Fortenberry, married to
Wyatt Smith. I have lots on her line on down to today if you
are interested. However I do not know how to send it over
e-mail. I could snail mail you whatever you'd like. Are you
interested on details about Euseba or her descendents or both?
I'd like to know more aobut Burrell's descendents.
I notice a note from JHALL. I correspond with her. She and I are
triple cousins.

Looking for my BROWN ROOTS!
Allen Brown b. 26 Jan 1836 Location uncertain. Parents,
siblings, unknown. Married 28 April 1858 to Emaline M. Smith in
MS. She was dau of Wyatt SMITH and Euseba FORTENBERRY. Allen
died before 1880. He may have been a doctor. Three children:
Mary E. BROWN, b. 13 Aug 1861; Jasper Pascal BROWN, b. 15 May
1865; and Alvira E. BROWN, b. 5 Aug 1868. ...........

died 13 July 1802 at 65 years of age.(13) He was buried three
miles from Richmond, VA.
He married Mary Harris 11 May 1767 in Chesterfield Co, VA.(14)
(Mary Harris is #6213.) Mary was the daughter of William Harris
and Martha Osborne. Mary died 3 April 1825 at William Cooke's in
Henry Co, KY.(15)
In John Markham's 20 Oct 1770 will in Chesterfield Co, VA,
Bernard was named as his son.(16)
Bernard Markham and Mary Harris had the following children:

1791 at 23 years of age.(18) She married Efford Bently 1782.(19)

ii. John Markham was born 20 Jan 1770.
iii. Catharine Markham (#6218) was born 30 Dec 1771.(20)
Catharine died Feb 1776 at 4 years of age.(21) George Markham's
Bible says she was buried "at Mr. William Harris', in Manikin
Town."
iv. Bernard Markham (#6219) was born 2 Oct 1774.(22) Bernard
died Aug 1777 at 2 years of age.(23) He was buried in the
orchard at the home of Col. Bernard Markham, "at the Ware."
v. Mary Markham (#6220) was born 31 Dec 1776.(24) She married
Linneus Bolling 17 Dec 1793.(25) (Linneus Bolling is #6228.)
Linneus was the son of Robert Bolling of Buckingham.
vi. Elizabeth Markham (#6221) was born 25 May 1779.(26)
vii. William Harris Markham (#6222) was born 23 Feb 1781.(27)
William died March 1790 at 9 years of age.(28)
