"Elias supposedly left three sons and two daughters when he
died. Evidently his wife was already dead as she is not named.
He names a grandson child of his deceased daughter. The census
of 1820 shows five males beside the head of household; he was
supposed to have had five sons when he came to Alabama. Young
men show up in the 1830 census that may have been married sons
of his. [Index #324, Effie Norwood Jones CD]."
