Know all men by these presents that we John Williams and William
Fairleigh are held and firmly bound unto the commonwealth of
Kentucky with the just and full sum of fifty pounds current
money of the United Stated which payment, well and truly to be
made and done we find ourselves our heirs etc. jointly severally
and firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and dated the
11th day of February 1822.
The condition of the above obligation is such that if their
should be no legal cauße to obstruct a marriage shortly to be
solemised between the above bound John Williams and Mary Vernon
for which a license this day issued then this obligation to be
void else to remain in full force and virtue in law.
