I have a possibility of finding Hannah Culliatt's parents, the
only Culliatt's in South Carolina were Adam Culliatt and his
family. Not sure but think that his son Adam or one of his
brothers was the father of Hannah. Am trying to find some
proof."

"VIRGINIA GLEANINGS IN ENGLAND by Lothrop Withington,
Genealogical Publishing Co., Book in my possession [DFR], pg

Thomas Matthew, formerly of Cherry point, in the parish, of
Bowtract in the County of Norghumberland in Virginia, Merchant.
Will 6 May 1703; proved 28 Feb. 1706-07. "My body I desire may
be buried if I sahll dye in or about London as neare to my
dearly beloved son William as it can be laid in the Church of
St. Dunstan in the East." If I dye possest of any estate in
England after my debts be paid, to be divided amongst my three
children,
Joh, Thomas and Anna. Lands in Stafford County, Virginia, as
follows: one-half to my son John, other half to Thomas and Anne.
My Brother in law Captaine John Cralle and my old and faithfull
servants Jr. James Gunn and Mary his wife have manifested great
faithfulness and industry to me, both in Virginia and since I
cam thence, so they to live peaceably in the houses they now
inhabit.
Executors: My Nicholas Boyes, mary Middleton.
Poley, 40. [Thomas Mattew of Northumberland Co., Va, a member of
the House of Burgesses at the session of June, 1676, and the
author of "T.M."'s account of Bacons' Rebellion. There is no
evidence that he was in any way related to the family of
governor Samuel Mattews. For note on Thomas Mathews see this
Magazine, I, 201-202] pg 56. The will of Robert D\Walton, dated
Jan. 14, 1669, was proved in Northumberland Co., July 19,
1671....legacies to his sister, Mrs. Frissie Mathew, and his
brother , Mr. Thomas Mathew, of Northumberland Co., VA..."
