Notes

Warren's second wife was Emma Havens. The divorce was because Warren killed his brother in law, James Ball on Christmas Eve in 1872.

"Warren shot and killed Sallie's brother James Ball on December 24, 1872 with no explanation for this murder. Warren and Sallie had five daughters and two more daughters with Emma Havens. Their names are not known. He served during the Civil War and had his heart and lungs damaged from the Saltville raid of 1865 as a result of the explosions.
He was listed as a deserter, when actually he was going after deserters from his own unit."
