[From Milton Leathers, [email protected]] "Jane Fortune Robinson, Mary Ann's grandmother, and her husband were from Dublin, Ireland [probably Anglo-Irish]. Jane stiched boots for the Revolutionary soldiers. Some of Mary Ann Lamar Cobb's grandchildren turned their noses up when they heard the story. She told them that if they couldn't be proud of their Irish heroine of the War, then "may you have all of that Huguenot blood, of which you are so proud, drained from your veins!"
