From Anna Singer: "Owned a plantation on Walnut Branch of Cedar Run which he had bought from the Stamps family. After Revolutionary War, brought his family including son James to Mason Cty, KY.


James B. married twice. He married Elizabeth Scott born in Virginia died abt. 1760. He married Mary Stamps in Virginia, bef. 17 Feb 1763. Mary was born in Fauquier County, Virginia abt. 1730. Mary was the daughter of Thomas Stamps and Mary Rose."
