I Charles Dickason of Louisa Co., having already given my daughter Mary Smith her portion, give her nothing. Rest of estate to wife Ann Dickarson and after her death to children Griffith, Ralph L., Patsey, Robert, Adelia, Charles, Jane & Ann. If wife marries, she to receive only 1/3 of estate and 2/3 to be equally divided between my eight last children. After she dies the 1/3 to be equally divided between my eight last married children. But $300 to son Griffith should be deducted from his share. If any of the last named children should marry before the death of my wife... Wife Ann & son Ralph L. Dickinson to be executors with friend Joseph Sandidge. 17 May 1815

Descendant of 1. GRIFFITH3 DICKINSON (JOHN2, RICHARD1) was born Abt. 1629 in England or possibly Virginia, and died Bef. May 1673 in Virginia. He married ELIZABETH SPRINGALL June 12, 1649 in St. Martin Orgar, London, England, daughter of THOMAS SPRINGALL. She was born Abt. 1628 in probably London, England, and died February 6, 1687/88 in New Kent Co., Virginia.
