From James Bluford Coffey, His Ancestors and Descendants in
America, Vol II-Ancestors, p 31, author Marvin D. Coffey states:
"About 1728 John Coffey married Jane Graves, daughter of John
Graves, deceased, and his wife Hannah....."
The record is unclear as to whether this Jane Graves was d/o
Francis Graves, Jr. by a first wife, or of his father, or of
neither of them.
"(d/o John and Hannah Graves). John's widow, Jane/Jean Graves,
moved to NC with her son Thomas. She died in Wilkes NC near
Patterson. Info from a book "Thomas Coffey and His Descendants"
by L. H. Coffey; from census records and probate records".
