with no wills or probate records identified in Vincennes. Mathew
returned to Bullitt County Kentucky, but Drury's location
remains unknown.

Sarah was appointed Administratrix of the estate of her husband,
John, on 8 Apr 1823.
"History of Linton Hall," by Sister Andrea Verchuck, states that
this Sarah died when her granddaughter, (Sister Mary Baptista)
Sarah Elliott Linton was age 13. Sister Mary Baptista was born
in 1822.
Sarah's will dated 1 Apr 1835 and probated 5 Sep 1836, left her
entire estate to her granddaughter, Sarah Elizabeth Linton,
daughter of John Tyler Linton, then deceased. (Allied Families
of Linton...).
Note: The above sources were in error as to the correct parents
of this Sarah. They show her as the daughter of William and
Letty (George) Linton, but the will of that William who died in
1843 in Fayette Co., Ky., names his daughter Sarah GORHAM.
