"I will enclose the info I have on Margaret Stark's ancestry (Hugh's wife). Her ancestor John Kelsay is also father of William Kelsay (my 4th great grandfather) who came to California in 1861. William is also ancestor of Richard Boone who played Paladin on the old "Have Gun-Will Travel" television series.

Josie: You have permission to use any of the info I sent Marshall in any way you wish. I am not familiar with the William S. Kelsey in Platte County, Missouri, who married Mary Elizabeth Bryant. Don't know if he is one of "our" Kelsays or a Kelsey (different family most the time although some of our Kelsays are spelled with an "ey" in records and some even changed the spelling of their name.
