Her mother came to American from Germany. The rest of her immediate family was born America She didn't like it there at all and she died old age. She was 84 years old. She had cervica Excerpted from "MY PERSONAL HISTORY" BY LOUISE ANNE GUERRANT LANTZ. She went to school through grade school. She was a clerk for Box Office, a movie publication magazine. In 1948, my grandmother married Cecil A. Vance. He died in 1957 in Bull Shoals, Missouri, where he and Cecilia had a restaurant, Vance Villa. After C. A. died, Louis Arnold and his sisters moved her to Kansas City, somewhat against her wishes. She lived with one of her daughters for a long time by the Country Club Plaza. She was a cook for the sisters of her church there. She then lived at a retirement home like John Knox Village, in Lee's Summit, Missouri, till she became too ill to take care of herself. At this point , she was moved to a rest home. l cancer, but she did not know it.
