William BRISCOE

ABT 1650 - ____

ID Number: I69938

  • RESIDENCE: James City Co. VA
  • BIRTH: ABT 1650
  • RESOURCES: See: notes
Father: (Research Query) BRISCOE

Notes

Wonder who this William Briscoe is?

4. On 20 Sept 1683 there is a reference in James City Co., VA of 12 acres of land being patented to William Briscoe, referred to a "land which William Pen dyed seized of and was found to excheat by inquisition under Col. John Page, Exchecker & Co." My comment to this is that this William Penn could be the William Penn who died in Kinsale, Ireland in 1676.
(see Wm Penn record)
