Sarah Foote was born 27 Jun 1676 in Stafford Co, VA and died
after1733 in Stafford Co, VA.
I believe she has her Sarahs mixed. There is no indication that
Hester and Richard 1 were in VA at that time, and Sarah born
1676 almost has to be the Sarah that Richard saw in London when
he went to claim his estate, 1699, per Connyers document. So at
that point she was married to Arthur Bradshaw. Richard returned
to VA in 1700 and there is no mention in Connyers that she was a
widow at that point. She didn't make the return trip with
Richard so Bradshaw could have still been alive at that time. If
this Sarah md. Whitecotton, is was at least 1701/3 and as her
first know child isn't born until 1705, prob about 1704. mmm"

"The first of the name was a sea captain who resided in Bristol,
England, and who came to the United States about 1743., landing
in Baltimore, MD. He had two sons, of whom one settled in
Connecticut, and the other in Fauquier Co., Va. The latter had
three sons: John, William, and Richard.
Of these, William Pearl ...came to Crab Orchard Ky., in 1783."
According to my notes, William who came to Crab Orchard was the
son of William Pearl, born ca 1725, died 1785 Farquier Co., VA
and Martha. He had a son Richard but I did not notice a son
John. I do not know who the brother in Connecticut was but there
is an earlier New England line of Pearls starting with John and
Nicholas who came to Massachusetts about 1670-75. Both had
descendants in CT.
Father: Nicholas Pearl b. About 1661 in Ipswich, Essex County,
Massachusetts
Mother: Elizabeth Bosworth b. About 1664 in Ipswich, Essex
County, Massachusetts.
This appears to be the same family as Capt. James Pearl of
Baltimore, MD
James Pearle married Mary Glover April 2 1682 in Somerset
Maryland.
James Pearle married Elinor Dennis March 8 1777 in Bouetort
Virginia.
