MELINDA
WILLIAMS
was born about 1832 in Coahuilia (Cherokee County, Texas), Mexico, and died
about 1852 in Old Mt. Calm, Limestone County, Texas. She is buried in the Pitts

CRABTREE

CRABTREE
and REBECCA.
He was born about 1815 in Tennessee, and died 1853 in Old Mt. Calm,

County, Texas. Notes for JOB
CRABTREE: Job Crabtree and Hiram
Estes were ox wagon drivers for Col. Leonard Williams' freighting outfit from
Houston to Waco (Torrey's Post #2). FROM INFORMATION GIVEN
TO ME BY FLOYD SMITH NOTE: I have been unable to substantiate this claim. Mr. Smith does not remember where he received this information from. I would speculate from Dan Williams - however, I have not found it in any information I have written by Dan Williams. I am also unsure that Job Crabtree belongs to the Crabtree family listed as his parents. |
