    • The site where we have done most of our research, in addition to personal records and records found elsewhere.  This subscription has been worth every penny.  We maintain our family tree here, and download our Gedcom file from it periodically, when needed.
       

  • USGenweb.org

    • This is a great collection of information by county within each state, and it is free to use.  It has been compiled by volunteers, and it has been a wonderful way for us to find additional information on the web.  Lookup volunteers are available in most counties.
       

  • Rootsweb.com

    • This is not only a great research site, but it is also a great place to upload your Gedcom file and establish a family genealogy site, and it's all free!  Approval is required to obtain a Freepages site.

    • A comprehensive list of resources and guides for tracing family tree information

    You can also add your own family members and others here, as well as drop by to "leave flowers" on someone's listing.  Many volunteers are sharing information here now from gravesites and obituaries.  This is a really great site!
