Leaving San Francisco, California Feb. 5, 1910, he halted at Honolulu; then visited Yokohama, Japan, Hong Kong, Canton, Manilla, Philippine Islands; thence to Borneo, Java, Singapore, Rangoon, Calcutta, Island of Ceylon, and then to Bombay. He sojourned in Egypt, crossed the Mediterranean Sea to Naples, Italy, the to Florence, Rome, and Venice; crossing Austria, witnessed the Passion Play, crossed Germany, and sailed from Hamburg to New York.
