LINKS The following are sites which I have found of great use to me when undertaking research into all things Nance and Cornwall. * NSW Births, Deaths and Marriage Index This site is useful for finding the Certificate Registration Numbers for early settlers in New South Wales. * State Records Office of New South Wales New indexes of interesting historical data are being added to this on-line site from time to time and it is worthwhile checking the site for new additions on a regular basis.
* The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Indexes to records for English, Irish and Scottish ancestors may be found on this site.
A site where a search may be made of the U.K. Census details for the years 1841,1851,1861,1871 and 1891. A group of volunteers worldwide are working at transcribing, checking and validating the data from each of those Census. The Database is updated regularly, so return visits to the site are advisable. FreeBMD is an ongoing project, the aim of which is to transcribe the Civil Registration index of births, marriages and deaths for England and Wales, and to provide free Internet access to the transcribed records.
This website contains fascinating historical data relating to the western extremities of Cornwall. Well worth a browse! * The Society of Australian Genealogists (SAG) This website provides useful links to other Australian and overseas genealogical resources.
* The National Archives of Australia. This site is useful for looking for the details of relatives who immigrated to Australia after World War II.
