Claybaugh To Hoy

Louise Keifer married Margaret Springle.  To them seven children were born one of which was
Barbara Keifer b.  who married William Claybaugh b. 22 Nov, 1783 in Frederick Co, MD d. 5 August, 1838 in Ross Co, OH.  24 Feb, 1779 in Frederick Co, MD d. 26 Dec, 1851 in Kenton Co, OH.
"They were both born in Frederick County, MD and lived there until after their daughter Margaret was born in the fall of 1805.  They moved near the forks of the Yough in west Moreland County, Pennsylvania; thence in the fall of 1814 into Ross County, Ohio; thence in the spring of 1821 into Fayette County, Ohio; thence in the fall of 1829 into Frankline County, Ohio; thence in the spring of 1836 into Ross County; where William Claybaugh died August 5, 1838.  In September 1850 Barbara Claybaugh went to Kenton, Ohio to visit her daughter Elizabeth and died there December 26, 1851.  William Claybaugh was left an orphan at an early age and to use his own words was kicked from pillar to post until he got a home of his own."
