Eliza was born approximately 1848, in Bledsoe County, TN, on Walden's Ridge. She moved to Putnam County, Tennessee as a teenager with her family.

Cy was unable to uncover much at all about the life or the descendants of Eliza. She married and had a family but it is not known who her husband was, how many children she had or their names. It is unknown where she lived or when she died, although a descendent of Eliza's sister, Barb Coleman Harvey told Cy that late in Barb's life she used to write to a sister in Kentucky. This may have been Eliza. Nothing else is known about Eliza or her descendants.
