Pauline Dail Williford

Mrs. Pauline Dail Williford, 65, of 704-A Claiborne St. died Thursday afternoon (November 13, 1980) in Wayne Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Church of God of Prophecy on George St. with the Rev. M. L. Hartley officiating. Burial will be in Selma Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Wood, Keith Kearney, Gary Gatlin, Jerry Deans, Randy Deans and Jay Stanley.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Edna Smith and Mrs. Lena Deans of Goldsboro, Mrs. Sara Strickland of Newport News, Va., and Mrs. Patsy Page of Zephyr Hills, Fla.; two sons, David E. Wood of Kingman, Ariz., and Charles E. Wood of Winston-Salem; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers, Willie and Jackie Dail of Selma and Charles Dail of San Diego, Calif.; two sisters Mrs. Mary Odell Stanley of Smithfield and Mrs. Mabel Futch of Selma.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at the Seymour Funeral Home.  At other times, they will be at the home of Mrs. Edna Smith, Rt. 11, Goldsboro.

The body will lie in state at the funeral home until 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
