Funeral services for Lester Edwards, 59, of 408 W. A St., who died yesterday in Wayne Memorial Hospital, will be conducted tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. from the Seymour Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
A retired mechanic, he was a veteran of World War II and a member of the VFW.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lillian Forehand Edwards; six foster children, Mrs. Edna Smith and Mrs. Lena Deans both of Goldsboro, Mrs. Sarah Strickland of Newport News, Va., Mrs. Patsy Page of A Land Of Lakes, Fla., and David E. Woods and Charles E. Woods both of West Cavena, Calif.; one uncle W.D. Wood of Goldsboro.
The body will be taken to the residence today at 1 p.m. and remain there until tomorrow at 1 p.m.
