I purchased this photo album on eBay, and have scanned all
the photos in low (screen - 100 dpi) resolution and high (600 dpi) resolution.
There are 221 photos to enjoy, four in color.
Below is an index of the photos. You can either select one at random,
or browse through the whole group, in the sequence they are presented in
the photo album. I have included any text associated with the photos on
the webpage where they are presented (very few have any label).
Lake Nemaha was a CCC project in the 1930's and 1940's. It is
located southeast of Seneca, KS, northwest of Kelly, KS. The lake was
used for fishing and recreation for a number of years, until it silted
up in the 1970's. It was at least partially dredged in the 1970's, but
was only used for a few more years. (This is just from my memory; someone
please update me with corrections as necessary).

Norman Luebbe reports hearing the workers sing "21 dollars a day,
once a month". The workers were paid 30 dollars a month, of which 21
dollars were sent home automatically each month.
