Sacred to the memory of John, son of Capt. Cutting & Judith Favor, who died Jan. 15, 1782, in the 21 year of his age. (According to Richard Musgrove’s History of Bristol, John was attempting to walk from his home to his father’s home during a snowstorm and he perished enroute.)
