Working for the Texas State Highway Department.  Picture on the left was taken about 1932 when he worked for a contractor building roads in Houston Co., TX for the State.  Picture on the right was taken about 1958 on the Roland Dodson property where the Texas Highway Department bought gravel for local road construction.
