Oakley Richardson

Oakley Richardson, aged 27 years, one of the best known motormen in this
city is dead at the home of his mother, Mrs. Anna F. Richardson, of 512
State Road, East End. Mr. Richardson had been ill for about two weeks
with heart trouble and pneumonia. Death occurred this morning, January
26, 1905, about 2:15 A.M.

Richardson has been connected with the local street railways for about 10
years and was considered the biggest motorman on the road. He was working
on the Glassport and Evans Ave. division up until the time of his illness.

Mr. Richardson was the son of L. E.  Richardson, at one time Superintendent
of the McKeesport and Reynoldton Railway Company, and it was during his
fathers management of the road that he went to work on the railway.

Mr. Richardson is survived by his mother and one sister, Anna. Funeral
arrangements have not been completed.
