and died March 12, 1908.  He married ELIZABETH RILEY June 08, 1857.  She was 
born June 01, 1838 in Ireland, and died October 17, 1906 in Springdale 
Allegheny Co., Pa..

   ..."A great calamity overtook the family on March 23, 1894 when three of 
his daughters, Miss Sarah Elizabeth and Miss Comelia Remaley and Mrs. William 
(Arabelia D.) Arthur and a son-in-law William Arthur, were killed, being four 
of the five victims at the Maccabee dynamite explosion at Blacks Run, above 
Oakmont. ...
