Jerome J. Dittman

Jerome J. Dittman, 54, died yesterday at 8:30 a.m. in his home at 1800 Vermont Ave, West Mifflin.

He was born in Pittsburgh on Sept 14, 1898 a son of Mrs. Mary Raab Dittman and the late Henry Dittman. He was a long time resident of Duquesne and was a machinist at the Duquesne Works of the U. S. Steel Company. Mr. Dittman was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church of Duquesne and it's Holy Name Society.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Rella Grooms Dittman; his mother of McKeesport; three sons; Jerome Jr. of Hatboro; Bernard of the Josephinum College of Worthington, O. and James at home; two foster sons James and Thomas at home; five brothers Leo of Dravosburg, Clarence and Adelbert of Duquesne, Raymond of Miami, Fla., and Cyril of McKeesport; and four sisters, Mrs. Amelia Rendine of Connellsville, Mrs. Colette Zewe, Mrs. Margaret Madden and Mrs. Madeline Weber of McKeesport.

Friends are being received at the Maloy Funeral Home in Duquesne. Solemn High Mass of Requiem will be conducted on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church by the Rev. P. J. Bernarding. Internment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Duquesne.
