Mrs. Anna M. Eschman

Mrs. Anna M. Eschman, aged 84 years, widow of the late Jacob Eschman, highly esteemed resident of Warren, Oh., passed away at her residence, No. 38 Third Street, Thursday evening at 9:20, her death following a short illness with infirmities attendant upon age. In the passage of Mrs. Eschman the city loses one of its oldest residents.

For many years the Eschman family owned the farm which was purchased by the Warren Board of Trade, which became the site of the Trumbull Steel mill.

She was born in Pittsburgh on November 29, 1839, and came to Warren with her family twenty years ago. She was a member of the Catholic church all her life and since coming to Warren has been a devoted member and attendant in St. Mary's church. She was a woman of broad personality and made a host of friends in her neighborhood. She is survived by four sons, Joseph, Jacob, George and John Eschman, of Warren; Mrs. George Zerr of Pittsburgh; Mrs. Joseph Schmitt and Mrs. Henry Lutz, Warren; eighteen grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
