George Eschman

George ESCHMAN, 73, died at his residence, 245 Third SW, at 2:30 p.m., Thursday afternoon. He had been ill for six weeks and death was caused by complications.

Born in Sharpsburg, Pa., Jan 19, 1873, the son of Jacob and Anna STOEBE ESCHMAN, he had resided in Warren, Oh., since 1902. The Family owned a farm on Pine SW. Their house was located on the present site of the Republic Steel office.

He was employed by the General Fire Extinguisher Company, which is now the Grinnell Company. He worked there 34 years before retiring nine years ago.

Twenty-two years ago he married the former Cecilia NOULLETT, who survives. Mr. ESCHMAN was a member of St. Mary's church and the Holy Name Society.

Also surviving are three brothers, Joseph, Jacob and John ESCHMAN, all of Warren; and two sisters, Mrs. Henry LUTZ and Mrs. Joseph SCHMITT, both of Warren.

The body is at the Gillen Funeral Home, where friends may call at anytime. The family will meet friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 Saturday night, and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's church. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery.
