Raymond E. Kaiser

Kaiser:  Raymond E. Kaiser, 59, died Friday, Jan. 30, 1998, at UPMC St.
Margaret Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born Feb. 26, 1938, in Sharpsburg, he was
the son of Anne Newbree Kaiser of Shaler and the late John Kaiser.  Mr.
Kaiser was the retired owner of Kaiser Signs in Sharpsburg and was an artist
who was noted for his paintings of political figures.  In addition to his
mother, he is survived by his wife, Charlotte Carson Kaiser; two daughters,
Darlene Putze of Etna and Lisa Reithmiller of Bellevue; two brothers, John
Kaiser of Glenshaw and Leon Kaiser of Sharpsburg; two sisters, Rose Williams
of Sharpsburg and Audree Mikulla of Albion, MI.; and two grandchildren.

Christian Funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday in St. Mary's Roman Catholic
Church, Sharpsburg, with the Rev. Thomas Manion presiding.  Burial followed
in St. Mary's Cemetery, O'Hara.  Arrangements by Worrell Funeral Home, Main
and 9th Streets, Sharpsburg.
